Pizzaro Place: An apartment building at Lima's seafront, the player can contact different characters here. Alpamayo Peak: The famous Alpamayo mountain in the Andes Mountains. Plaza Mayor: A small garden plaza in the middle of a street between the market and shoppe. Cathedral of Lima: A Christian cathedral located opposite of the plaza. Pedro Allavena sells his Peruvian Cacao here. Pucusana Plantation: A cacao plantation that was planned to be featured in the game, but was cut in the final game. The player can sell his/her confections here. Miraflores Chocolates: The local chocolate shop managed by Yussell Parodi. The player can purchase ingredients that go into making chocolates here. Mercado Aurora: The local market in Lima, maintained by Giuliana Zender. The cold sea current that passes Peru's long coast makes the sea very rich in fish and seafood. Lima is also the best place to try Peruvian cuisine, which has a huge variety of ingredients from the coast, mountain and Amazon regions. There are several archaeological sites in and around the city (locally known as huaca). 
Lima's pre-Hispanic and colonial architecture is beautiful and the city has several museums (such as the Museo Larco) that tells the story of a country with a long history that produced a large number of coastal and Andean civilizations (such as the Moche, Chavin, and the Incas) and many local cultures.
Lima was the seat of Spanish rule for 300 years, and as such it has wonderful churches, cloisters and monasteries. For this reason, there is widespread poverty in the city center and in the peripheral areas.įounded in 1535 by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro, the modern city is a curious mix of the modern mega city with some 'islands of modernity', large but orderly slum areas and colonial architecture in the city center.
Many of these people have migrated from the Andes mountains to find work in Lima, without success. Lima is a metropolis of almost 8.5 million people. Lima is the capital of Peru and its largest city.
